"I was born and raised in Seattle, WA and attended the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston, MA receiving a B.F.A. 'With Honors' in 1981. In 1983 I received a Masters in Fine Arts from Washington State University. From 1986 to 1998 I taught at Washington State University as an Adjunct Faculty member in the Fine Arts Department, teaching beginning and advanced painting and drawing, and figure drawing. After that, I decided to work on my painting without being interrupted by other employment."
"My studio time is coveted, and only recently have I again ventured out into the world of 'less than part time' employment. I am very self directed and disciplined, so I long for a rhythm that is undisturbed, and am blissfully content to work in my studio for extensive periods of time each day. My work is represented by the Davidson Galleries in Seattle, WA and Sue Greenwood Fine Art in Laguna Beach, CA."
